FAQs
Just in case you were wondering...
Each piece is thrown by me and then fired at least twice, three times for the gold lustre, at my home.
Buying Handmade:
Every piece is unique and will have signs of being handmade. No two items will be the same. Size and color can vary from item to item.
All measurements are approximate. (I do my best, but it's just me and a ruler.)
The gold is hand painted on. Brushstrokes can be seen at times.
I make every effort to represent each piece as accurately as possible, but if you are not satisfied please let me know.
Buying handmade is not for everyone.
Care & Use:
Hand washing is best.
Gold can not go in the microwave.
The clay that I use contains grog, and although I sand the bottom of each piece by hand they may still scratch surfaces. Be careful.
Returns & Exchanges:
Although I would like everyone to love their pieces, I know that won't always be the case. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me to discuss your options. I do not offer exchanges, because I rarely have extra stock on hand. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Damaged Items:
Please report any damaged pieces within 48 hours. All items are inspected before shipping and should arrive to you in handmade "perfect" condition. Insurance claims must be filed in a timely manner.
If your order arrives broken:
1. Immediately photograph the package and the broken piece(s).
2. Contact me ASAP to let me know.
3. Keep the packaging AND broken pieces on hand (for insurance purposes).
Theft:
If a package is marked as "Delivered" by the USPS, it is very unlikely that they will fulfill any claim that is filed for missing goods, even though my packages are insured. As a one-woman VERY small business, with rarely any stock on hand, I can't be held responsible for stolen packages. Please keep an eye out for your items.
Wholesale:
I do not take wholesale orders at this time.
Custom Orders:
I do not take custom orders at this time.
Shipping:
I currently only ship to the US, except for jewelry items, those ship to Canada as well.
